Dear Burlington Corporate Office, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern with the condition of the Burlington Coat Factory in Arcadia, California off of Duarte Road and Baldwin. As a loyal customer, I was shocked to find that the store is in a state of disrepair and should be shut down for health violations. Upon entering the store, I was greeted with a filthy and dirty environment. Merchandise was scattered all over the floor, and the carpets were stained and unkempt. In addition, ceiling tiles were missing, exposing electrical wires, and there were holes in the walls. Broken tiles were covered up with a piece of cardboard tape and a floor mat, which is unacceptable for a $1 billion company like yours. I have attached pictures to this email to show you the condition of the store. It is a disgrace that a store with such a reputation could be in such shambles. I fear for the safety of customers and employees, as there are many hazards that could cause harm. I urge you to address this issue immediately or shut down the store until the necessary repairs and cleaning can be done. It is unacceptable for a store to operate in such conditions, and it reflects poorly on your company's reputation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,

This was kind of a creepy Burlington. The only entrance was through the parking garage, and then down some stairs. I saw some extended sizes in men's shoes which was nice. It's holiday season as well so I can see why it was a bit messy. One critique I have is that almost all the perfumes and colognes are locked in boxes, with no way to smell them. Makes it hard to take a chance on a new fragrance.

I go to this store when I need household and personal items. They have great prices for items such as clothes hangers, flip flops, makeup bags, bath sponges, storage containers and kitchen towels. There is plenty of free parking. The store is smaller than it used to be in square footage, but arranged logically. It can get very busy and crowded during the holidays, so I try to shop here off season.

As a long time customer, it's very sad and tacky to consistently overhear while either in line or shopping, three elderly of all people actually team member's negatively gossiping about different customers and their personal opinions about them. Those 3 elderly employees are Massey, Becky and Sheryl. These individuals have gotten too complacent with their long years that they have been working there. This is what I was told as I was asking a different employee those 3 women's names so I could write this review. It doesn't matter how long they have worked there. Clearly they have never been trained on proper etiquette and classy behavior. No one that spends hard earned money to shop wants to hear the bad mouthing gossip. They are there to work efficiently and make all customers feel welcome. Not turned off from shopping there. It's happened too often at this location with these particular 3. This is detailed enough to make my point in the highly unprofessional environment they represent.Thank you in advance for listening corporate. But please find a way to resolve this behavior amongst this situation they are creating.

I have called the toll free customer service once to comment about an incredibly grumpy employee with a long blond ponytail wearing a blue L.P vest early this year.Her name is Cheryl or Sheryl. Although she greets with the welcome at the entrance. She is NOT friendly at all! I get we all have off moods . But she is very grouchy in attitude towards individuals frequently! If she cannot consistently make customers feel welcome. Then why on earth is she still an employee? Customer service goes beyond the front door greeting. With courteous and positive energy. My most recent encounter with her grouchy energy, was after 8pm Friday September, 15th, 2023.Not a welcoming way to keep a customer wanting to shop at this location at all. After you complain to anyone about this person. She still continues with her SAME! grouchy attitude. Why would a customer that would like to enjoy some shopping, want to subject themselves to that vibe every time at this location? No thanks!
